Youth in grades 6-12 are encouraged to share their gifts of music. Typically there is a musical or special musical performance each spring in addition to performances during our program year. The choir has shared their talents in the community as well with special holiday performances at the Nottingham Retirement Community. The Disciples Youth Choir is directed by Susan Borenstein. They rehearse on Sunday mornings during the program year during part of the worship service.

No matter what your skill, age, or instrument, you're invited to make music with our UUMC "No Fault" Orchestra, directed by Danny Magowan and coordinated by Tom Boll. We have a variety of instruments including violins, violas, flutes, clarinets, horns, trumpet, trombones, tuba, piano, and percussion. Our orchestra is also open to people from the community who would like to join us in making music together. The orchestra usually has rehearsal 2 or 3 Sundays before they play in worship, and they perform 3 to 4 times during a program year Back to top Back to ministry in our congregation
