Reading the Bible with Bonhoeffer

This fall, join us for a six-week journey through Reading the Bible with Bonhoeffer. Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a German pastor and theologian whose Christian faith led him to resist the Nazi regime and whose writings continue to challenge Christians around the world. Together, we’ll explore how Bonhoeffer approached Scripture and consider what his life, faith, and witness can teach us about reading and living the Bible faithfully in our own time.

Sundays at 9:15 a.m. in the Gathering Room, through November 8, with a break on October 11.

Books are $18. Sign up through the church office and place your book order by September 9. To register, call 315-475-7277 or email office@UUMCsyracuse.org. Whether Bonhoeffer is an old friend or a new name to you, all are welcome to join the conversation.
